Why having vibrations and/or infrared?

Numerous researches proved a certain efficiency in:

- Reducing pressure and pain. Most of the time with an immediate effect

- Speeding up tooth movement amid a positive effect of vibrations and infrared on bone cells around the roots

- Helping aligners to seat perfectly on the teeth, specially when there are attachments (composite). Having a better fit allows a better tooth end position and a faster result.

from 20% up to 60%

- High vibrations are helping bone contention during the retention phase.

- Ask your doctor, check forums, Google "Vibrations Invisalign".

Home / Accelerated?

Accelerated Orthodontics - Accelerated Invisalign

Why Accelerated?

AO or Accelerated Orthodontics:

Devices like Acceledent, Vpro+, Orthopulse are ClassII medical. But until now, there are no clinical proof of bone cells acceleration. Those claims are based on research only. To their defence, conducting a clinical study is hard and delicate to conducct and obtain authentic results because of the variability of multiples parameters. Most of the clinical studies have been done on a very small number of cases...

Our devices are Class I, classified in the category "seater". Just like a band seater, helping to fit tightly the aligners against the teeth, for a better control of the root movement. That would provide better and faster results of the orthodontic treatment. The frequencies are set following the requirement of the latest research done on vibrations and infrared.

What other type of aligners then #invisalign are now on the market?

Except Byte.me that include a vibrating device with each aligner kit, all those other brands are vibrations less, which is leaving patients to run after one device, or most of the time are just left out of those devices, and won't enjoy the benifit of them: (non limitative list)

Bitepod Reviews

Bitepod:

by sassi_alice Mar 21, 2020 Great product if you’re using orthodontic aligners, thank you

Cut my invisalign time in half...
Worth every damn penny !!!
I went from every 2 weeks to 1 week - every 5 days to every 3 days.
No pain, just 20 minutes before bed, new trays are an ease after the first use.

from Tampa, FL asked:
How does BitePod20 compare to Acceledent?
1 Answer
Great question, Jamie! Acceledent is only available for purchase from your dentist or orthodontist because of its FDA classification and its claims to speed up treatment time. Acceledent also "expires" after a set time period (usually 12 to 24 months), after which it will cease working. It costs around $1,000. BitePod20 is categorized differently because it does not make claims to speed up treatment time; therefore, it can be purchased here at DentaKit.com. Like Acceledent, BitePod20 delivers low frequency vibrations to your mouth and gums which may increase circulation and may help to alleviate pain and discomfort from orthodontic treatment. It can also be used to help seat tight new clear aligners. Unlike Acceledent, BitePod20 does not "expire" after a set period of time. It can be used for years (even by others in your household; just buy a fresh new mouthpiece for it). In this regard, BitePod20 is a good value for money, and could even be resold when your treatment is finished. I hope this answers your questions!
from Indiana asked:
What size is the mouthpiece?  I would need a small mouthpiece with the acceledent brand.  Would this work for me?
1 Answer

The mouthpiece for the Bitepod isn't terribly large. We don't know the size of the Acceledent "small" mouthpiece that you mention, but we think that

the mouthpiece of the Bitepod will accommodate you just fine.

It seems to help
Quite an expensive little item --- basically it's just a rechargeable vibrator with an on/off button and a removable silicone mouthpiece (plus the appropriate charging base/charger included) --- but it's still much less expensive than the similar acceledent product that is only available through the orthodontist. Also, acceledent "times out" after some number of months. So despite the rather high cost of the Bitepod, I bought it, and I'm surprised to report that it seems to help --- I'm having less pain/sensitivity with my invisalign trays. So I'm finding that it's worth it for me. I have no idea if it's making my treatment move faster, because I have no way of measuring that. But I'm grateful for the less expensive alternative to the abusively expensive acceledent product.
ProsSeems to work. Less expensive than acceledent. Lightweight. Shipped out quick.
Cons Still seems rather expensive.

So far, so good.
I bought this device because it's a fraction of the price of AcceleDent and Propel V5Pro. I've used it for 3 days now and I have notice that it does help the Invisalign trays seat better. The small gap that was visible on one of my incisors has disappeared.

Though they can't make the claim that this device speeds up the Invisalign process like AcceleDent does, I don't see the distinction between two devices that vibrate at the same frequency (30Hz). In other words, with the more expensive devices, I think you're paying for a lot of fancy packaging, marketing, and meaningless software/apps.

I'm glad I bought this device. It seems to be worth the money.
Pros Cheaper alternative to AcceleDent and Propel V5Pro.
Cons Orthodontist can't help you with this device since they probably haven't heard of it and they didn't sell it to you.

Worth every penny!
An orthodontist recommended another much more expensive brand saying that it could cut the time I would have to wear aligners in half because your teeth move faster. I found the Viber and didn't hesitate to purchase it. I am in aligners that are super tight and hard to pop out. Not only does this help seat the aligners but it has made them easy to get out possibly because my teeth are responding and moving faster? The device itself is super easy to use. The mouthpiece comes off and is easy to clean and best of all the device won't allow you to use it for more than 10 minutes two times a day. I am super happy with the money I saved and the benefit I am receiving! Thank you Bitepod!!!
Pros: Easy to use, automatic shut off, easy to clean.

Love It!
Easy to use. My orthodontist works with me and has reduced the time change with my aligners. Also, DentaKit people on phone were quite helpful, especially the lady who helped me expedite my order. Thank you.

Reduce pain and make it comfortable for new aligner
This helps for seeing new aligner! Reduce pain and make it comfortable.
Charging may take time, and vibrates for 10 minutes , but it is good for avoiding using too much.
I am very satisfied with this purchase.
Plus, amazing follow up communications with customer service!!
Highly recommend!!

Awsome! Reduces Pain.
Only thing on the market this inexpensive (Even though IMO it should cost less). Just small 30Hz vibrations amplifying the blood circulation and adjustment process. Worth it.

Worth it!
My orthodontist wanted me to get Accelledent but I wanted to try this first. It does a good job in helping to seat my new aligner trays and it actually does make them a lot more comfortable and pain free. I think it's worth the money. My dentist is pleased. My sister is thinking of getting braces so after I'm done, I'll get a new mouthpiece and give this to her!
Pros Easy to use
Cons You have to remember to use it, LOL

It really works
I don't know of this is similar to acceledent or not but I wasn't willing to pay the orthodontist $800. This definitely helps with pain and seating of new aligners and I have now been able to change my aligners faster (every 10 days instead of 14). I do think it is overpriced which is why I took off one star but it does work and will enable me to finish my treatment faster so for me, worth the money.
Pros Easy to use, works as stated
Cons High price for what it is.

Great product! Made my braces a lot more comfortable!
I was somewhat dubious about a product like this, but I found that it really did help relieve some of the pain from my new braces. I've used it every time that my braces were tightened, and then at other times if my braces were hurting. I actually look forward to using it. My orthodontist said that it might help and he was right. Worth the money! Go for it!
Pros Easy to use and works!
Cons A little bit expensive, but IMO it will pay for itself for me in pain relief.
